“New Flesh” is the fifth song off of Wild Heart, originally released by Nick Rattigan under the pseudonym TELE/VISIONS. Compared to some of the songs on the record, the lo-fi effect creates a nostalgic and somber mood. The title most likely refers to the 1983 film, Videodrome, in which the character Max Renn delivers the line: “Death to Videodrome! Long live the new flesh!” It is perhaps best known for its use by an Internet personality named Emma Grier Read more on Last.fm.

Current Joys is the latest incarnation of an ongoing musical project from indie-pop singer Nick Rattigan, who began releasing music in 2011 as The Nicholas Project.
